Hi folks! I’m Jake, a sound designer, musician and audio engineer (as well as other nouns). I’m a First Class Honours graduate from the BSc Audio Technology course at Glasgow Caledonian University here in my hometown of Glasgow, Scotland, a graduate with distinction from the MDes in Sound for the Moving Image program at the Glasgow School of Art, and now undertaking a PhD in Audio Augmented Reality at the University of Glasgow.
As well as all that I play bass in my band, Triptych, and have a small venture producing content for tabletop roleplaying games, under the Animancer moniker. While I’m undertaking my studies I’m working on my audio portfolio, and seeking opportunities in the sound for moving picture and video games industries.
