I’ve experience with all facets of audio production in both live sound and studio recording, having worked on projects both for myself and in a professional capacity for others.
The Benbecula Tree, Meglomatic
Most recently I was an assistant recording engineer on Glasgow band Megalomatic’s debut album, The Benbecula Tree, released May 2022! This was a great experience, staying at the Cottage recording studio by Loch Fyne for two weeks and tracking the core of the album. Throughout the process I assisted with the nuts and bolts of recording, as well as comping recorded tracks and offering creative input here and there. The end result is an album I’m exceedingly proud to have worked on and one that’s been well-received by the Glasgow music scene since its release.
